Navy (1979 - 1986)

Comments:

"I went to the Citadel on a 4 year ROTC scholarship, graduated in 79 and accepted a commission in the US Navy. I flew the F-14 Tomcat from 1980 until 1986 when I resigned my commission. I made 3 extended cruises aboard USS John F. Kennedy while assigned to Fighter Squadron Eleven (VF-11) and flew combat missions in Beirut, Lebanon in 1983 and 84. I was a Tomcat Instructor in VG-101 when I left the service in May 1986. I had over 1600 hrs in the Tomcat and 421 arresting landings aboard various aircraft carriers."
