Intelligence Specialist (IS, coded to ISCS at the Senior Chief level) 21 years, one month & 16 days in the USNR before transferring to the Retired Reserve on 1 May 2006. That also included 8 years of active duty on and off as a Reservist called up on active duty with the Regular Navy.

"Now I am a Senior Chief Petty Officer/E-8, U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR), Retired Reserve. I work here as a government civilian, employed by the Department of the Navy (DON) for Navy Personnel Command. We used to be BUPERS, but transferred down here to Millington TN (I live in Memphis) in June 1998".
